It's my boyfriend's birthday next week and he's working in Nottingham at the moment. I want to surprise him and turn up at his work on Friday. Does anyone know of any romantic places to go and stay in the city?
I've heard about some trendy pub in a church but I guess it could be loud! Anyone had any romantic nights in Nottingham?

We stayed at the Lace Market Hotel! Thanks for the tip Jack. It was wonderful. It was a gorgeous evening and we went to the bar in the church and then for a lovely meal at Bistro Pierre!

glad you liked it Nottingham has come along way from when i was a youth...the one advantage it had was that the girls out numbered the blokes 4-1....my wife is from Nottingham...did ya meet any celebs ...and i hope the bloke appriciated what you did..

but yes we do go away...i am trying to get her away for september for 7 days somewhere nice. Oh if you and yours decide to do a long haul sometime..check out Margarita Island, Venezuela, ...i loved it and the price was really good..just a thought!!! as they say in nottingham see you later me duck!!
