Can you believe it? We all asked her why she's still seeing him and she says that he's a good-looking guy and she's lucky to have someone like him! What a turn-a-round! She was ready to boot him to kingdom come the other day! Steve was a bit cruel and said that big girls have to take what they can get as most just wouldn't go there! Men are mean aren't they?

Meanwhile, for those of us who have got it right and not got a mean and nasty man.... da da da!!! My gorgeous boyfriend proposed to me the other day on our 1 year and 10 month anniversary! He said he couldn't wait for the 2 year one as the ring was burning a hole in his pocket.

Am so excited. Love is definitely in the air at work as our boss has also proposed to his very attractive ex-model girlfriend (who wouldn't?). He now has an even bigger smile on his face. Maybe now's a good time to ask for a pay-rise!

 Comments

Beware the Dawn!

Dawn is the new girl at work. She's very flirty and loud. She always wears low-cut tops to show off her cleavage because she says that if she doesn't, she just looks fat! - she makes me chuckle!!

Her conversations are highly entertaining as she tells us all about her cheating boyfriend and how he thinks he's getting away with it. She's onto him big time! She's been through his phone after over-hearing conversations and has turned out to be a bit of a super sleuth. She's even intercepting his emails - I'd be scared if I were him!

 Comments

Nottingham

It's my boyfriend's birthday next week and he's working in Nottingham at the moment. I want to surprise him and turn up at his work on Friday. Does anyone know of any romantic places to go and stay in the city?

I've heard about some trendy pub in a church but I guess it could be loud! Anyone had any romantic nights in Nottingham?

 Comments

Diabetes

Was really shocked today to find out that Claire at work has been diagnosed with diabetes. Shocked because I thought it was something that older people got - she's only 32.

The main culprit seems to have been her weight that has always been more than it should have been. (Hence the nickname Blubber!). She's taking it in her stride, but it makes you think. It's a vicious circle because it makes her feel tired and then not want to exercise, but the doctor's told her she has to lose weight and go for another blood test in a few weeks.

We've decided to help her while she's at work by not stuffing our faces with cream cakes, chocs and fizzy drinks and swapping these for fruit and herbal teas!

 Comments

Happy Easter

Knock knock
Who's there?
Esther
Esther who?
Esther Bunny!

How many Easter eggs can you put in an empty basket?
Only one – after that it’s not empty any more!

Why shouldn’t you tell an Easter egg a joke?
It might crack up!

How does Easter end?
With the letter R!

Why does the Easter Bunny have a shiny nose?
Because the powder puff is on the other end!

What did the rabbit say to the carrot?
It’s been nice gnawing you!

What kinds of books do bunnies like?
Ones with hoppy endings!

Why can’t a rabbit’s nose be 12 inches long?
Because then it would be a foot!

They've been together for about 18 months and are pretty solid. When they got home and he emptied his pockets of change, gum, keys etc., something else fell out. - a condom.

Now Lou's pretty level-headed but she suddenly felt really insecure since they don't use the things and asked him where it was from. He got really upset that she even had to ask and said that someone must have slipped it into his pocket during their night out. Of course she knows that's the truth but it still upset her, and it upset him that the thought even crossed her mind.

There are some sad trouble-making a**seholes out there who can't bear to see two people happy. We all need to be strong but how can we maintain the feeling of 100% trust in someone, especially when we've been bitten before?

 Comments

Fireworks or not!

Been hanging out a lot more with my sister since she got dumped. She's much better now and was asked out on Saturday night - now that didn't take long!

She's not sure whether to go out with this one or not as she's not sure if she fancies him - there has to be a spark right? Thing is, one thing I've learned is that you shouldn't just take the first option that comes your way just because it's easy. I think she should hold fire 'til she meets someone that sets off the fireworks!

Anyway, I'm enjoying going out with her more often, and my boyfriend has gained new respect when he goes out with a twin on each arm!

 Comments

Broken Heart

Spent most of the weekend consoling my sister whose (kind of) boyfriend has dumped her. I say kind of because they hardly saw each other. He never really seemed bothered about her. I'm sorry to say it, but I think she did all the running and made it easy for him.

I'm trying to make her see that it's the best thing that could have happened to her. She's starting to see the light and although she's really upset, she's now planning to give up smoking and lose weight. Good for her!

Meanwhile my best mate who actually got married last July received NOTHING for Valentines Day! What's going on?

Can someone explain this to me. Has anyone been in a relationship where their partner didn't send them even a card on Valentines? Is it just me that would mind? Well not only me as my poor mate is really upset and thinks it marks the beginning of the end when they've not even celebrated their first wedding anniversary!

 Comments

Valentine's Day

What are you romantic lovelies doing for your loved ones tomorrow? I am being taken out for an intimate meal tomorrow evening and then Friday morning, he's taking me to Prague! Yay! I've painted a picture of the two of us that I'm going to give him. I'm really pleased with it and hope that he likes it.

Have fun whatever you do tomorrow, whether you're with someone you love or on the look-out for someone you could love!

Poor me... I've had a bad pet allergy for years now, but it seems to be getting worse and not only affecting my eyes, nose and throat but also my skin. My doctor says its okay to take antihistamines every day but I wish there was another solution. My boyfriend has a cat and whenever I go to stay, the poor thing gets turfed out of the house (the cat that is!). We're going to invest in an air purifier next and see if things improve.

Any tips and advice gratefully welcomed!

Looking forward to our romantic break in Prague next week. I hoping that the change in environment will do me the world of good. Can't wait! Hope you're all having a good weekend with the lovely sunshine!

It now appears to be a full-on out-in-the-open relationship and Em has even changed her relationship status in Facebook!!! (Must be serious then!)

Two employees were caught having sex in the stationery cupboard! The red-faced culprits are in the boss's office now so god knows what'll happen next.

What is the world coming to? Anyone out there ever had sex at work?

It's always good to catch up with my sister Lucy, but she's having man trouble. She's been seeing someone for a couple of years now, she's my twin - so she's 33 and really wants to settle down. He however seems quite happy with just seeing her every now and then. (They live quite far apart).

My boyfriend also lives a couple of hours drive away but we see each other every weekend as well as in the week if possible (and he has a son whereas her man doesn't). This discovery has not been good for Lucy as she's now questioning her man's true intentions towards her. He didn't even buy her a Christmas present.

I'm sure he can't possibly care about her and think she should move on and find someone who:
a) wants to spend time with her without her nagging him into it.
b) will put in some effort.
c) will buy her something for Christmas and her birthday.

My boyfriend just left today to go home but is back on Christmas day and it'll be just the two of us in the afternoon and evening - can't wait!

We live a couple of hours drive away from each other and this is our second Christmas together so I think it's something special. I hope you're all with people you love and that love you at this festive time. Have fun!

The disturbing thing is that the background is a white wall and I seem to be blending into it. I'm so pale!!

I think I need some kind of fake tan to make me feel human again and with Christmas parties, backless dresses and impending holiday with boyfriend on the horizon, I need to master the art of application!

Does anyone have any tips or experience? Claire says it just gives her spots - help!

Never been quite sure whether it was a term of endearment or not. I went out with him for years and well, nothing, then he meets the girl of his dreams and proposes within 2 months! I suppose that speaks for itself!
